Pre-Purchase Vehicle Inspection Terms and Conditions
1.1. The pre-purchase vehicle inspection includes a comprehensive assessment of the vehicle's condition by a vehicle inspector. This inspection covers mechanical components, electrical systems, and the vehicle’s bodywork.
Booking and Payment
2.1. Appointments must be booked in advance.
2.2. Payment for the inspection service is due upon booking.
2.3. The fee for the inspection is non-refundable unless the inspection is canceled by us.
Travel and Additional Costs
3.1. Travel expenses will be charged based on the location of the vehicle to be inspected.
3.2. A base travel fee is applicable for distances outside of 30 mile radius
3.3. For distances beyond the 30 mile radius, an additional charge will be applied.
3.4. In case of extreme weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, additional charges may apply to cover travel and accommodation expenses if necessary.
Weather and Unforeseen Conditions
4.1. Inspection appointments are subject to weather conditions. In the event of severe weather (e.g., heavy rain, snowstorms, hurricanes), we reserve the right to reschedule the inspection.
4.2. If the inspection is rescheduled due to weather or other unforeseen conditions, the client will be notified at the earliest convenience, and no additional rescheduling fee will be applied.
4.3. If the client chooses to cancel the service due to weather-related rescheduling, a refund will be provided minus any non-recoverable travel expenses already incurred.
Client Responsibilities
5.1. The client must provide accurate details of the vehicle’s location and ensure the vehicle is accessible at the agreed time of inspection.
5.2. The client is responsible for ensuring the vehicle has adequate fuel and a charged battery to conduct the inspection.
Inspection Limitations
6.1. The inspection is a visual and operational check and does not include dismantling of vehicle parts.
6.2. The inspection report will provide an assessment based on the visible and operational condition of the vehicle at the time of inspection. No guarantees are made regarding the future performance or reliability of the vehicle.
6.3. Pre-purchase inspection applies only to vehicles that are up to 8 years old from the date of manufacture.
Report and Findings
7.1. A detailed inspection report will be provided to the client within 24 hours of the inspection.
7.2. The findings in the report are based on the condition of the vehicle at the time of the inspection and do not cover any subsequent issues that may arise.
Liability
8.1. Our liability is limited to the cost of the inspection service.
8.2. We are not liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, or injury arising from the inspection service or the condition of the vehicle inspected.
Governing Law
9.1. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state/country in which the service is provided.
